The East Meadow Chamber of Commerce, celebrating its 70th year, is deeply invested in the community we proudly call home. Our membership, which includes businesses, organizations, and civic leaders, is dedicated to enhancing East Meadow and Salisbury—two vibrant hamlets within the Town of Hempstead and integral parts of the East Meadow School District.
Together, we work tirelessly to improve our entire community. The Chamber plays a crucial role in maintaining relationships and acting as a liaison between local businesses, various levels of government, and neighboring chambers. Our goal is to foster business growth and create a business-friendly environment that ensures East Meadow, Salisbury, and the surrounding areas remain wonderful places to live, work, and raise a family.
Each year, we organize valuable initiatives such as mock job interviews for high school students, equipping them with essential skills and lifelong advice. Thanks to the support of state and local officials, our past events have become beloved community traditions, including Trunk or Treat, the Easter Egg Hunt, the 9/11 Memorial Service, Community Day, and many more. As these events continue to grow, we are able to give back even more, such as awarding four scholarships this year to exceptional seniors from East Meadow and W.T. Clarke.
Our regular monthly meetings provide opportunities for members to network and welcome new guests. We invite you to explore our directory, which highlights the local businesses that support our community in countless ways.
A heartfelt thank you to the East Meadow community for your unwavering support of our local businesses. Remember to shop local!
